DPLF works in Latin America. The geographic focus of each program is decided based on the needs of the region.
Currently, the countries and regions where we work are:
Mexico (Oaxaca, Guerrero and Chiapas) – reform process of the code of criminal procedure, indigenous peoples’ rights, judicial independence, Inter-American Human Rights Protection System.
Central America – Judicial independence, indigenous peoples’ rights, extractive industries, transitional justice, Inter-American Human Rights Protection System.
Andean Region – Indigenous peoples’ rights, extractives industries, judicial independence, transitional justice, pre-trial detention, Inter-American Human Rights Protection System.
Latin America – Inter-American System of Human Rights.
